We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team at Example Company. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and execution of products across all technical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear technical vision for the product roadmap, including technical goals and objectives.
- Technical Product Development: Work closely with engineering and development teams to implement technical solutions, ensuring alignment with product requirements and technical feasibility.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for products, including technical specifications, user manuals, and technical reference materials.
- Technical Requirements Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of technical requirements for new products, ensuring alignment with business goals and product vision.
- Technical Roadmapping: Develop and maintain a detailed technical roadmap, prioritizing technical initiatives based on business impact and technology readiness.
- Technical Training and Support: Provide technical training and support to product teams, including developing training materials and conducting workshops.
- Technical Support and Escalation: Handle technical support requests and issues, ensuring that all technical questions and problems are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
- Technical Performance Metrics: Monitor and track key performance metrics related to technical product performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of technical product initiatives with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Technical Product Management role.
- Strong understanding of technical product development and product management principles.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience with product management tools, such as Jira or similar systems.
- Experience with customer support and escalations.
- Passion for technology and a commitment to delivering quality technical products.
