Senior Full-Stack Developer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our growing tech team. As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining complex web applications using the latest technologies and tools. You will be expected to lead and mentor junior developers, ensuring the team maintains high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement scalable and maintainable full-stack applications using modern front-end frameworks like React and back-end technologies such as Node.js and MongoDB.
2. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create intuitive and effective user experiences.
3. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
4. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them grow their skills.
5. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks, and integrate new tools and technologies into existing projects.
6. Participate in code reviews, and actively seek out ways to improve team workflows and collaboration.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for applications and APIs, ensuring that developers can easily understand the system and its components.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with at least 5 years of experience.
3. Expert knowledge of front-end frameworks (React), back-end technologies (Node.js, Express), and database management (MongoDB).
4. Strong understanding of web development principles, including RESTful APIs, API design, and microservices architecture.
5. Proficient in version control systems like Git and experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
6. Experience with modern web technologies such as Webpack, Gulp, and Docker.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points:
1. Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, or other similar frameworks.
2. Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
3. Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, Ember.js, or Knockout.
4. Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
5. Knowledge of security best practices, including OWASP and PCI DSS compliance.
