Position Overview:
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing tech team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and maintenance of our web application. Your responsibilities will range from designing and implementing the front-end user interface, to optimizing the back-end database and ensuring seamless connectivity between the two.
Responsibilities:
1. Front-End Development:
- Develop and maintain the user interface of the application, ensuring a seamless and aesthetically pleasing user experience.
- Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into functional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
- Optimize the front-end for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
2. Back-End Development:
- Create and maintain the application’s back-end, including server-side logic and database interactions.
- Use and integrate various back-end technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
- Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
3. Integration and Deployment:
- Develop APIs and integrate them with the front-end to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Set up and manage server environments using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or other CI/CD tools.
- Ensure the application is deployed securely and efficiently, including continuous integration and deployment processes.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the application meets high standards of quality.
- Work with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs and issues in the application.
- Implement automated testing tools to enhance the testing process.
5. Documentation:
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for both the front-end and back-end codebase.
- Write user manuals and guide documentation for the application, ensuring it is accessible and easy to understand.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the application meets the overall project goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress and challenges.
Requirements:
1. Educational Background:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A master’s degree is a plus.
2. Experience:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
3. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with front-end libraries and tools.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies and databases.
- Proficiency with testing tools like Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
4. Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
5. Certifications:
- AWS Certified Developer (Cloud)
- Google Certified Developer (Frontend)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
