Lead Frontend Developer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Developer to join our rapidly growing tech team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a creative, innovative, and experienced developer to lead a team of talented frontend engineers. The Lead Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality front-end solutions that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders. This role will require a deep understanding of modern web technologies, a strong focus on usability and accessibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Lead Frontend Developer will be responsible for leading front-end development initiatives, mentoring and guiding junior developers, and ensuring the overall quality and performance of the front-end codebase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality front-end solutions that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of front-end development initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Ensure the overall quality and performance of the front-end codebase.
- Lead front-end development initiatives and drive the team towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality.
- Lead and manage the front-end development pipeline, including tasks such as code management, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct performance testing and optimization of the front-end codebase to improve user experience.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure consistent design across all front-end components.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in front-end development.
- Work with the development manager to set and achieve project goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer, with a minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team of developers.
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or Ember.
- Proficiency in front-end debugging tools, such as Chrome DevTools, Firefox Developer Tools, and Node.js.
- Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques, such as code splitting, lazy loading, and minification.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of developers.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and the ability to ensure that all front-end components are accessible to users with disabilities.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and the ability to ensure that front-end components are responsive across all devices.
- Experience with front-end testing tools, such as Jest, Mocha, and Selenium.

- Experience with back-end technologies, such as Node.js, Express, or Django.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks, such as Jest, Mocha, and Selenium.
