Full Stack Developer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing tech team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the front-end and back-end of our web applications, ensuring seamless user experience and efficient data handling. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy applications that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-End Development: Develop and maintain the user interface of our web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular. Create and manage responsive design for both desktop and mobile browsers.
- Back-End Development: Implement and maintain the server-side logic using technologies like Node.js, Python, and Ruby on Rails. Handle API development and secure user authentication.
- Database Management: Design and implement database schemas to store and retrieve data efficiently. Work with database administrators to optimize performance and ensure data integrity.
- User Experience (UX): Conduct user research and design to improve the overall usability and user experience of our applications. Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications for both the front-end and back-end.
- Testing and Deployment: Write unit tests and integration tests using tools like Jest and Mocha. Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs. Deploy applications to production environments following security guidelines.
- Project Management: Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality products.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for both front-end and back-end development. Keep the codebase up-to-date and maintain documentation to support future development.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in one or more front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, and other backend technologies.
- Strong understanding of database management and optimization techniques.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and continuous integration tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of security practices and best practices for API development.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack development.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with cross-functional teams.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
