Job Title: Full Stack Developer | Remote Position

About the Role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team, contributing to the development and maintenance of our robust applications and web services. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality codebases that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. You will work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure that our applications are user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Frontend Development:
- Implement and maintain user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and performant.
- Collaborate with the Frontend Developer to create a cohesive user experience across different devices and platforms.
- Optimize code for performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.
2. Backend Development:
- Develop robust backend systems using languages like Node.js or Python.
- Implement and maintain APIs that are secure, efficient, and scalable.
- Work with the Database Administrator to ensure data integrity and efficient retrieval of information.
3. Full Stack Development:
- Collaborate with the Full Stack Developer to create a unified front-end and back-end experience.
- Ensure that the front-end and back-end communicate effectively, making data and functionality seamless.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure that the application meets all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in code reviews to improve the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
- Participate in system testing to ensure that the application is thoroughly tested and meets all quality standards.
5. Documentation and Code Management:
- Write clear, concise documentation for the application.
- Maintain a clean and organized codebase using version control systems like Git.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of the company's codebase.
Requirements:
1. Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience with Python or Node.js.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
2. Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
3. Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining web applications.
- Experience with backend systems using Node.js or Python.
- Experience with databases and database management.
- Experience with version control systems and code review processes.
4. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with Angular, Vue.js, or other frontend frameworks.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Location:
Remote, with the ability to work from anywhere in the world.
