Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Full Stack Web Developer, where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly, efficient, and scalable solutions that meet business needs. This role will require you to be proficient in front-end, back-end, and database technologies, ensuring seamless integration of components and exceptional performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Front-End Development:
- Create and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Develop and implement interactive components, including forms, animations, and transitions.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure consistent visual design across different devices.
2. Back-End Development:
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails or similar web frameworks.
- Develop and maintain server-side logic to handle database interactions, including CRUD operations.
- Implement security measures such as authentication and authorization.
3. Database Management:
- Design and implement database schemas using SQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Optimize queries and database performance.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across the application.
4. Integration:
- Collaborate with developers and designers to integrate different components of the application seamlessly.
- Ensure smooth interaction between front-end and back-end functionalities.
5. Testing and Deployment:
- Write unit tests and integration tests using frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment practices, ensuring the application is easily deployable and scalable.
6. Documentation and Communication:
- Write clear, concise documentation for code, processes, and design elements.
- Maintain and update documentation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Node.js, Express.js, or similar back-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with front-end development tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Gulp).
- Experience with unit testing and continuous integration practices.
- Proficient in Git for version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with modern front-end libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
