Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer
Location: Remote or Office-Based, Depending on Skills and Location
Salary: Competitive, Negotiable
Duration: Permanent or Contract, Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Backend Development:
- Develop and maintain the application's core functionalities using Node.js and Express.js.
- Implement RESTful APIs for integrating with external services.
- Ensure security measures are in place for data protection and user authentication.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to design and implement database models and schema.
2. Frontend Development:
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless functionality across devices.
- Integrate and maintain modern web technologies such as React Hooks, CSS Grid, and TypeScript.
- Work closely with the backend team to ensure consistent and reliable data flow.
3. Testing and Deployment:
- Conduct thorough testing using unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Maintain and update the application on different platforms and devices.
4. Support and Documentation:
- Provide documentation for the application and its components.
- Maintain and update the application’s user manual and technical guides.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common issues raised by end-users.
5. Project Management:
- Participate in planning and execution of development projects.
- Assist in project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of features and functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure a cohesive design and functionality.
- Engage in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Be available for code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and React.js.
- Strong understanding of web development frameworks and technologies.
- Knowledge of modern web development practices (e.g., JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with backend technologies like Python, Java, or PHP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- 1+ years of experience in frontend development with React.js.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Continuous Integration/Deployment tools.
- Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
