Lead Software Engineer
At a leading technology company, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This individual will be responsible for leading and mentoring software engineers, driving innovation, and ensuring project success.
The Lead Software Engineer will work with a team of experienced developers, designers, and quality assurance engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. They will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through to testing and release.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor software engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally and personally.
- Drive innovation by proposing and implementing new solutions to improve software development processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Ensure project success by monitoring progress, addressing risks and challenges, and delivering on time and within budget.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on software development practices and tools.
- Collaborate with product managers to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Conduct performance testing and provide insights on software performance and scalability issues.
- Work with development managers and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer or a related role.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring software engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Experience with software development tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with software performance testing and optimization.
