Role Overview
The Senior Frontend Developer role is focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality front-end web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a specialization in React, and experience with Node.js and JavaScript. This role involves working closely with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to bring digital products to life. The candidate will be responsible for leading the development of new features, implementing and maintaining existing components, and ensuring the front-end of the product is consistently optimized and performs well under load.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of new features for the product.
- Implement and maintain existing front-end components.
- Work closely with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to ensure that the front-end of the product is consistent with the overall design and strategy.
- Optimize the front-end of the product to ensure optimal performance under load.
- Collaborate with the back-end team to ensure that the front-end of the product is integrated and performs well.
- Continuously improve the front-end of the product by identifying areas for improvement and implementing new technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with React, Node.js, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end development frameworks, such as Angular and Vue.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Experience with front-end testing and debugging tools.
- Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with front-end component development.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a specialization in React and Node.js.
