Position Overview
The Technical Lead Developer position is responsible for overseeing the technical development and implementation of new features and enhancements to the company's product. The candidate will lead a team of developers and provide guidance on technical decisions and solutions to ensure that the product meets the company's goals and exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical development and implementation of new features and enhancements to the product.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team on technical decisions and solutions.
- Ensure that the product meets the company's goals and exceeds customer expectations.
- Work closely with other departments such as design, marketing, and sales to ensure that the product is aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Continuously improve the development process and provide feedback on areas for improvement.
- Identify and solve technical issues and provide solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into the development process.
- Collaborate with the team on technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Ensure that the codebase is maintainable, scalable, and follows best practices.
- Take ownership of the project and ensure that it meets the quality and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a developer, with a focus on technical leadership and project management.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with JavaScript, React, and other front-end technologies.
- Experience with Node.js and other backend technologies.
- Experience with database management systems, including SQL.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with deployment and infrastructure management.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Location
Remote work is preferred, but the ability to travel to the office occasionally may be required.
