Head of Product Management
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Product Management to lead our company's strategic direction and product development. This role will require a deep understanding of market trends, product design, and business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing product teams and driving innovation across multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product roadmaps that align with the company's long-term strategic goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of product features with business objectives.
- Conduct market research to inform product decisions and identify new product opportunities.
- Evaluate competitor offerings to ensure competitive edge and market position.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and sales teams to develop and implement comprehensive product strategies.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure product launches meet expected milestones and deliverables.
- Champion agile methodologies and lead cross-functional teams to achieve high product quality and velocity.
- Drive continuous improvement of product performance and user experience through analytics and A/B testing.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team, promoting a growth mindset among the product management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with proven leadership and management skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing product teams and driving innovation across multiple product lines.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes, including Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for project management and collaboration.
- Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and product design principles.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online retail.
- Experience in software development and product engineering.
- Proven ability to work with startups and emerging tech companies.
- Leadership experience in a tech-focused startup environment.
Location: Remote work preferred, with potential to work on-site in a major city.
