Job Description

Hey all - so I’m going through interviews right now and the role is essentially based out of US but fully remote living in Canada. The recruiter mentioned it is Contract (but full time position in the company - and will be paid by the salary range based on the job board) I’m curious from Canadians who are in this position right now what you think the pros and cons of this set up is based on your experience? Am I considered self employed? (Therefore subject to some tax benefits) Should I push for US currency to be paid? What are the considerations should I think about before making a decision on the salary (the CAD range in job posting might not necessarily translate to the value working in Canada full time) Thanks!
