Superside is seeking a highly skilled Illustrator with expertise in Generative AI to join their dynamic team. This role involves creating exceptional work for some of the world's leading brands, combining traditional illustration techniques with cutting-edge AI tools to develop compelling visuals across various campaigns, branding, editorial content, and digital experiences. The ideal candidate is adept at developing character-driven narratives, concept-led illustration work, and has a strong command of AI to enhance creative possibilities without compromising quality or consistency.
Responsibilities
- Create original illustrations for branding, campaigns, editorial content, and digital experiences.
- Develop consistent illustration systems and character libraries, working within established brand guidelines.
- Use Generative AI to accelerate concept development, explore visuals, and streamline illustration processes while maintaining high standards of quality and brand integrity.
- Integrate AI-generated assets into projects while ensuring alignment with brand and creative direction.
- Experiment with emerging AI workflows to enhance the creative process and share insights with the broader creative team.
- Collaborate with creatives, project managers, and clients to translate briefs into polished visual outcomes.
- Connect illustration decisions to broader brand, campaign, and storytelling goals.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and maintain a high standard of craft.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining independent ownership and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional illustration experience with a portfolio showcasing strong conceptual and narrative work.
- Excellence in drawing fundamentals, including anatomy, composition, perspective, form, and visual storytelling.
- Proven ability to work within established brand systems and illustration guidelines.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related illustration tools.
- Experience using Generative AI tools as part of a professional creative workflow.
- Ability to create consistent illustration systems, character libraries, and scalable visual assets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
- A collaborative mindset, open to feedback, iteration, and experimentation.
