We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Product Designer, focusing on the creation and implementation of innovative products and user-centric experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and marketing to develop and refine our sleep hardware and software products.
- Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our sleep technology products, ensuring seamless integration with other components of the sleep fitness ecosystem.
- Conduct user research, analyze data, and incorporate feedback to inform the design process, ensuring that our products meet the needs and preferences of our target audience.
- Work closely with developers to translate design concepts into functional prototypes and iterate based on user testing results.
- Collaborate with engineers to validate design solutions and ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
- Create detailed design specifications and documentation to guide the development process, ensuring alignment with product vision and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve product design and create cutting-edge solutions for sleep and performance optimization.
- Manage design projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Lead cross-functional design workshops to enhance team collaboration and innovation.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and user acceptance testing to ensure the success of the design process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, industrial design, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in designing user-centered products and interfaces.
- Strong design thinking skills, including the ability to empathize with users and translate their needs into effective design solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to articulate design concepts effectively to non-designers.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++), and experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines and achieving quality standards.
- Experience with agile methodologies and lean design principles, such as Kanban or Scrum.
