Technical Content Specialist
At ABC Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Content Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing technical content across all mediums, ensuring that our clients receive clear, accurate, and engaging information about our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive documentation for internal and external users, including user guides, FAQs, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure that technical content aligns with product requirements and enhances user experience.
- Create engaging and informative content that helps drive user adoption and satisfaction.
- Optimize existing content for search engines and improve accessibility for users with disabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, ensuring that the content remains relevant and valuable.
- Manage and maintain an internal knowledge base for cross-team communication.
- Contribute to the development of content strategy and plan for future projects.
- Work closely with marketing and design teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all channels.
- Identify gaps in content and suggest improvements for future projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform content development and optimize content performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Computer Science, or Technical Writing preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in content management, documentation, or technical writing.
- Strong understanding of technical writing principles, including grammar, vocabulary, and style.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts.
- Experience with various content management systems (CMS).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred).
- Experience with SEO, accessibility, and user experience (UX) design principles.
Location: Remote
Salary: $XX.XX - $XX.XX per year, negotiable based on experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Native fluency in English and strong language skills in other languages (Spanish, French, or German preferred).
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana preferred).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum/kanban frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN preferred).
