As part of Lightspeed’s Information System's department, you will provide technical leadership on large-scale projects with impact across the business. Leveraging deep technical expertise, you will design and deliver end-to-end solutions that are scalable, resilient, and sustainable. You will also play a key role in supporting the team’s growth by mentoring others and strengthening overall technical capability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, end-to-end solutions that are scalable, resilient, and sustainable.
- Make sound design decisions and trade-offs, assessing risk and proactively addressing gaps.
- Lead incident resolution, conduct post-incident reviews, and ensure effective follow-up actions.
- Drive a quality-first mindset, diagnose complex issues independently, and prevent recurring problems through root cause analysis.
- Act as a technical thought leader, guiding decisions and influencing technology direction.
- Mentor team members and contribute to high-level reviews to elevate overall technical capability.
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Extensive experience in enterprise systems configuration and architecture (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, Intercom).
- Advanced expertise in platform architecture and complex system functionalities, with a focus on scalability.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to independently resolve complex, cross-system issues.
- Experience designing systems with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
- Proven leadership experience in delivering large projects and influencing team processes and decisions.
