Job Description
I graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering earlier this year (GPA: 8.26) and I’ve been job hunting for a while now with not much to show for it. I have a background in cybersecurity and full-stack development, a SCOPUS-indexed publication from IEEE ICOCT 2025, and certifications from Coursera, Cisco, and Infosys Springboard. On paper it feels like enough to at least get interviews — but it’s mostly silence. The confusing part is not knowing what to fix. Is it the resume? Am I targeting the wrong roles? Is entry-level remote just extremely competitive right now? Should I be applying more broadly or going narrower into AppSec and pentesting specifically? I’m also doing a self-structured internship roadmap on the side to keep building, but I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually landed something remotely as a fresh grad. What actually moved the needle for you — or what do you wish you’d done differently early on?Salary & Compensation
