Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
At our growing tech startup, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our rapidly expanding development team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about building innovative software solutions and creating seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex full-stack applications: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies, including JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate design requirements into functional applications.
- Optimize performance and scalability: Implement performance optimizations and ensure applications are scalable and performant for high traffic scenarios.
- Handle database management: Develop and maintain database schemas, perform database migrations, and optimize database queries.
- Lead and mentor junior developers: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers to ensure they have a solid understanding of the latest technologies and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews: Assist in the review process of code changes and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.
- Contribute to documentation: Ensure that the software documentation is clear, up-to-date, and well-organized, which is essential for the efficient use of the application.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends: Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest web development and design trends to improve the application's user experience and functionality.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience: At least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong JavaScript and React skills: Proficient in JavaScript and strong experience in using React for building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Experience with Node.js: Experience with Node.js and its ecosystem.
- Knowledge of databases: Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with front-end technologies: Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Flexbox.
- Experience with design principles: Understanding of design principles and best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Leadership skills: Ability to lead and mentor junior developers, as well as strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with version control: Knowledge of Git and experience with using version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to identify issues and find solutions, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively to improve the application.
