Responsibilities
1. Frontend Development:
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into functional web applications.
- Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our clients and users.
2. Backend Development:
- Build and maintain robust backend services using languages like Node.js or Python.
- Create APIs for integration with third-party services and databases.
- Optimize application performance and ensure smooth backend operations.
3. Database Management:
- Design and implement efficient database schemas.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data effectively.
- Perform database indexing and query optimization to improve application performance.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Write unit tests and integration tests for both frontend and backend components.
- Conduct functional and performance testing to ensure the application meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with the QA team to identify and fix bugs.
5. Project Management:
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to define and execute project requirements.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address any issues that arise.
6. Documentation:
- Create clear and concise documentation for both frontend and backend components.
- Maintain and update documentation as the application evolves.
- Train junior developers on best practices and development techniques.
Required Skills
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
- Knowledge of Node.js or Python for backend development.
- Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL.
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.
Desired Skills
- Languages:
- Knowledge of Java, C#, or other backend languages.
- Familiarity with TypeScript or other modern programming languages for JavaScript development.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and microservices development.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration tools.
