Responsibilities:
1. Frontend Development:
- Develop and maintain the frontend of our web applications using React.js, ensuring that the user interface is responsive and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into interactive web applications.
- Implement animations and transitions to enhance user experience.
2. Backend Development:
- Create and maintain the backend of our applications using Python, including server-side logic and database interactions.
- Implement RESTful APIs using Django or Flask, ensuring efficient data handling and scalability.
- Develop RESTful APIs that integrate with third-party services and databases.
3. Integration:
- Integrate frontend and backend components to ensure seamless user experience across devices and platforms.
- Implement microservices architecture for robust and scalable applications.
4. Testing:
- Write unit tests and integration tests using Jest and Mocha for both frontend and backend components.
- Perform automated testing using Cypress for both frontend and backend.
5. Documentation:
- Write clear, concise documentation for both frontend and backend components.
- Maintain a consistent development process and ensure that code is well-documented.
6. Support and Maintenance:
- Provide support for existing applications and assist with maintenance tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in front-end development with React.js.
- 1+ year of experience in back-end development with Python.
3. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks like Material-UI.
- Experience with Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in Python and Django or Flask frameworks.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and Cypress.
4. Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud deployment.
- Knowledge of TypeScript and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
