This is a Senior Engineering position

The Agents Experience team is building the global unified platform for everyone who supports our customers across Wolt, DoorDash, and Deliveroo. This is the single tool tens of thousands of agents will rely on every day to resolve cases, communicate with customers, and access the context they need to act fast. Our platform supports several thousand concurrent users and powers 20M+ conversations every month.

📍 This role can be based in our tech hub in Helsinki.
What you'll do
- Lead frontend architecture decisions for a platform serving thousands of concurrent agents across Wolt, DoorDash, and Deliveroo.
- Design and build responsive, accessible, performant interfaces using React + TypeScript.
- Author architecture and design documents (RFCs) that align cross-functional teams on technical direction.
- Partner closely with product, design, and backend engineers to ship automations and AI-powered features that meaningfully boost agent productivity.
- Set the bar for engineering quality through rigorous code review, performance audits, testing standards, and operational readiness.
- Debug, profile, and optimize the platform for performance, accessibility, and reliability across browsers and devices.
- Mentor other engineers and raise the team's overall technical depth.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with deep expertise in React.js and TypeScript.
- Strong architecture and system design skills: you write RFCs, define clean client–server boundaries, and think hard about scaling trade-offs.
- Solid testing discipline: testing is part of how you write code, not something you bolt on at the end.
- Performance and accessibility matter to you: you profile, you measure, you ship interfaces that work for everyone.
- AI is part of how you work. You've got a real workflow (not just occasional autocomplete ) and you know when to trust the model.
- You can run with ambiguity. Take a fuzzy problem, write the RFC, ship it, push back on bad ideas along the way.
Nice to have
- A bit of backend Golang on top of your frontend skills.
- You've built or maintained a design system or component library.
- You've shipped AI or LLM features in production.
- You're comfortable with frontend observability.
