Senior Backend Engineer (TS/Node) Opportunity
Graphy, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team in the UK/Europe region. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in backend development and a passion for creating scalable, reliable, and efficient systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Backend Features: Collaborate with the team to build essential backend features that support the development of our Agents API and data visualization SDKs. These features should be robust, scalable, and efficient to ensure our products run smoothly and reliably.
2. Optimize Performance and Reliability: Work with other engineers to optimize the performance of backend systems and ensure that the Agents run reliably across different environments. This includes addressing issues related to scalability, security, and reliability.
3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the needs of the development team and ensure that the backend solutions meet the requirements of other engineers. This includes working closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
4. Adapt to Rapid Change: Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, including technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, and modern development frameworks. This role involves staying updated with industry best practices and contributing to a culture of innovation within the team.
5. Implement Security Measures: Be responsible for implementing security measures to protect the systems from vulnerabilities and ensure the security of our clients' data.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Strong background in backend development, including experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and modern development frameworks like Express.js and React.js.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in designing and implementing scalable backend systems, understanding of database design principles, and knowledge of modern database technologies such as NoSQL and MongoDB.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in backend development, including building and maintaining backend APIs, developing and implementing security measures, and optimizing performance.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a collaborative environment, and a passion for creating reliable and scalable systems.
