We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a remote position at Lemon.io, a leading platform connecting developers with startups across the United States and Europe. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will leverage your expertise to contribute to the company's mission of connecting top developers with the most promising startups. Responsibilities
1. Develop innovative solutions and projects from scratch, utilizing the latest data science tools such as Python, RAG, and LLM.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. You will be expected to communicate effectively in English, both professionally and in client-facing scenarios.
3. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability, as our clients rely on you to deliver quality results. You will be expected to work independently and meet deadlines.
4. Offer adaptability and flexibility, as you will be required to onboard projects quickly and provide results within the stipulated timeframe.
Requirements
4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist
3+ years of commercial experience with Python
3+ years of commercial experience with Databricks
Experience with RAG and LLM is a must
Strong technical skills: as a Senior Data Scientist, you are expected to be able to create projects from scratch and have a deep understanding of application architecture.
Clear and effective communication in English — advanced ability to discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues. Good self-presentation is also essential for upcoming client calls.
Strong self-organizational skills — ability to work full-time remotely with no supervision.
Reliability — we want to trust you and expect that you won’t let us and the client down.
Adaptability and Flexibility — the ability to onboard the project promptly after accepting it and start delivering results quickly.
