This high-impact and quota-carrying position offers the chance to sell a product powered by space, leveraging Spire's innovative data and software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, business development, or account management, and a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. They should possess a consultative selling style, strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, and be proficient in using modern sales tools.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and executing a territory plan, expanding Spire's market presence across key industry segments, and leveraging Spire's partner ecosystem to drive adoption of its forecast data, APIs, and decision-support solutions. You will need to exceed sales targets and develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders across the weather, climate, and earth intelligence ecosystem.
As a Sales Manager, you will need to work with marketing, product, meteorology, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and feed market insight back into product development. You will be required to present persuasive sales presentations, prepare and present proposals, negotiate and close deals, and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities. Your responsibilities will also include tracking industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities across your regions, collaborating cross-functionally, and managing your pipeline in our CRM.
This role offers a competitive compensation package including base salary plus uncapped commission and equity participation. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in a high-tech field. They should be self-motivated, results-oriented, and effective working independently in a remote, globally distributed team. They should be fluent in English, travel across the territory as needed, and possess strong language skills relevant to the EMEA or APAC regions.
