Job Description: Full Stack Developer
#### Overview:
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the functionality of our web applications and backend systems. You will work closely with other developers and designers to create user-friendly and efficient digital solutions.
#### Responsibilities:
1. Developing Frontend and Backend Components:
- Work on the frontend interface using modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Implement and maintain the backend using Node.js or Python, ensuring efficient processing and database management.
2. API Development:
- Create RESTful APIs using tools like Express.js or Django to integrate with the frontend.
- Ensure seamless communication between the frontend and backend using JSON or GraphQL.
3. Database Management:
- Design and implement SQL or NoSQL databases to store and retrieve data effectively.
- Optimize queries to improve performance and scalability of the application.
4. Frontend UI Design:
- Collaborate with designers to create wireframes and design mockups using tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Develop and maintain the frontend interface, ensuring it is responsive and user-friendly.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Write unit tests and integration tests using Jest or Mocha for both frontend and backend components.
- Participate in regular code reviews and provide feedback to improve the codebase.
6. Deployment and Monitoring:
- Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Monitor application performance using tools like New Relic or Datadog and adjust the system as needed.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and product managers to ensure the application meets the business needs.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
#### Required Skills:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Vue.js), Node.js, Python, and SQL.
- Experience with backend technologies like Express.js, Django, and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of web development frameworks and libraries.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
#### Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining web applications.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages and a database management system.
- Previous experience in developing and maintaining backend systems using Node.js or Python.
#### Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a collaborative development process.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices.
#### Location:
This role is available remotely but may require occasional travel to client sites or office locations.
