Job Title: Full-Stack Developer/Engineer - Tech Stack Expert
Company Overview:
A rapidly growing tech company is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer/Engineer to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Development:
- Design and implement new features and applications using modern web technologies such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces across various devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
2. Back-End Development:
- Write efficient, scalable, and secure backend code using Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
- Build robust APIs and microservices for integration with front-end applications.
- Optimize database queries and implement efficient data storage solutions.
3. Database Management:
- Work with relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB to manage and optimize data storage.
- Implement data integrity and security measures to ensure data accuracy and prevent unauthorized access.
- Design and implement database schemas that enhance performance and scalability.
4. Integration and Testing:
- Develop integration tests and automated tests using tools like Jest, Mocha, and Cypress.
- Perform comprehensive testing of applications, including unit tests, integration tests, and system tests.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and fix bugs efficiently.
5. Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, budget, and resources effectively.
- Communicate project status to team members and stakeholders using clear and concise project management tools.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
6. Documentation and Training:
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation that adheres to best practices.
- Provide training sessions on new technologies and tools to help other developers enhance their skills.
- Participate in regular code reviews and code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to ensure consistent and reliable application performance.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to the company's vision and mission, and take ownership of tasks.
- Respond to emails and other communication in a timely manner and be available for urgent matters.
8. Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web technologies, programming languages, and software development methodologies.
- Attend industry conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Seek feedback from mentors and experienced developers to improve technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in at least two programming languages: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of database management systems: MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with version control tools: Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
- Knowledge of web development frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Strong understanding of web security practices and security protocols.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Certification in a relevant technology or programming language preferred.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies preferred.
- Desired Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with design patterns and architectural styles.
- Experience with performance testing and benchmarking.
