Position Overview:
As an Applied AI & Backend Engineer, you will join a dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge AI and backend solutions. With over 1.5 years of experience in the field, you have demonstrated expertise in building sophisticated applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance AI-driven vector and graph retrieval pipelines, achieving high recall rates and minimal errors.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of large language models, ensuring accuracy and identifying regressions before release.
- Build memory graphs with exceptional recall performance, particularly across complex competencies.
- Optimize and scale data pipelines, processing massive volumes of data using Kafka and BigQuery.
- Reduce latency in search operations from 1.2 seconds to under 280 milliseconds, processing over 10 million records daily.
- Develop and optimize vector search engines, achieving over 99.9% recall at a speed of 19,500 queries per second.
- Collaborate on data-driven engineering projects, focusing on distributed training and optimizer improvements, including contributions to Microsoft DeepSpeed.
