Tasks
As a Project Manager at Tended, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate project deployments, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives. You will play a hands-on role in delivering training directly to client users, guaranteeing their confidence and competence in utilizing new technologies and processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling project work
- Organizing and delivering client training
- Producing clear written updates and reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project
- Working weekends, bank holidays, and overnight to support shift workers
- Having strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Having a full driving license

Requirements
Essential:
- Significant experience in project management disciplines including planning, managing risks, dependencies, issues, timelines, scope, deliverables, and quality
- Experience delivering training or coaching to end users, ensuring they are confident and capable in using new technologies and processes
- Instinctive problem-solving skills, thinking outside the box to find ways to make things better
- Experience with project management tools (such as Microsoft Project)
- Ability to work weekends, bank holidays, and overnight, supporting deployments to shift workers
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Full driving license
Desirable:
- Practical, hands-on experience of on-the-ground delivery of new technologies, delivering to a range of different kinds of users with varying levels of tech-savviness
- Understanding of demonstrating the value of our work to clients during and after delivery, with good report writing skills to clearly communicate outcomes and insights
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in the rail industry
