Project Manager Position
As a Project Manager for Verra Mobility, you will be tasked with overseeing the implementation of external and internal client projects and ensuring that these initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual agreements. This role requires you to manage all aspects of project delivery, including tracking progress, managing risks and issues, and providing clear communication to stakeholders and management. You will also be responsible for creating and managing project plans, communicating schedules, and ensuring that all projects are completed according to established timelines and deliverables.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders and customers to manage expectations and provide timely updates
- Developing and implementing project plans, including schedules and dashboards
- Managing project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely completion
- Providing financial reports and status updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Working collaboratively with a geographically distributed team to maintain project alignment
- Adhering to agile software development processes and practices
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including the Account Management team
Qualifications for this role include:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of project management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems
- Experience in coaching, leading, and influencing others
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and tools
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines
