Full-Remote Job Opportunity: Naval Architect or Marine Designer
Are you an experienced naval architect or marine designer seeking a fulfilling and remote career? Look no further! We are currently seeking talented professionals to join our team, offering a fully remote environment where you can thrive.
As a naval architect or marine designer, your primary responsibilities will revolve around the design, construction, and maintenance of ships, yachts, boats, and other marine vessels. You will be responsible for creating detailed plans, drawings, and specifications that ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of these vessels. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and technical proficiency, as you will be working closely with clients and engineers to develop innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments
- Developing and implementing design solutions for ship and boat projects
- Collaborating with clients and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
- Creating detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Conducting research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and advancements
- Working on projects that require travel, but also those that can be completed remotely
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Architecture or Marine Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in naval architecture or marine design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other design software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work with a team and communicate effectively with clients and engineers
