YOUR ROLE
Your Responsibilities:
We are currently implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a new ERP system, replacing our old, simpler system. You will play a crucial role in this process by providing technical support for the implementation: you will lead workshops with the various departments to ensure Business Central runs smoothly in our day-to-day operations. You will also report to our Senior Project Leader Digitalization and Strategic Business Projects.
Employment: Initially 12 months.
Your Tasks Include:
- Technical configuration and setup of Business Central in the Finance, Purchase, Sales, and Inventory/Warehouse departments, including basic understanding of Manufacturing/Production
- Implementation of workshops with departments to take the process from concept to deployment, including planning and management of migration and implementation
- Conception and execution of key user and end-user training
- Development of test scenarios, UAT, and end-to-end tests to ensure the proper integration and reliability of the system
- Experience in role and permission concepts, and tracking of charges and serial numbers
YOUR PROFILE
Your Profile:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV, with a focus on Functional Consulting
- Familiarity with Finance, Purchase, Sales, Inventory/Warehouse, and Manufacturing/Production modules
- Experience with charges and serial number tracking, ideally from a regulated or production environment
- ERP implementation and migration experience, comfortable with workshops, training, and testing phases
- Basic understanding of Power Platform—no Power Apps development experience required
- Pragmatic approach, focusing on quick and effective solutions rather than individual customization
- Strong communication skills and negotiable German
