Job Description:

As a Front-end Developer at Empire, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to pushing the boundaries of web development and design.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging and user-friendly interfaces that are responsive and accessible across all devices
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create cohesive and seamless user experiences
- Contribute to the development of the front-end framework and contribute to the overall growth and optimization of the website
- Continuously improve the performance and accessibility of the website, ensuring that it meets the needs of all users, including those with disabilities
- Participate in the design and implementation of new features and functionalities for the website, and work with the design team to ensure that the design meets the needs of the business
- Implement and maintain the front-end codebase, ensuring that it is secure, scalable, and adheres to best practices and industry standards
- Contribute to the documentation and training of the front-end team, ensuring that all team members are up to date with the latest technologies and best practices
- Continuously seek out new ways to improve the user experience and make the website more efficient and effective
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in front-end web development, with a focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Strong understanding of design principles and best practices, including usability, accessibility, and responsive design
- Experience with web accessibility and accessibility standards, such as WCAG and ARIA
- Proficient in version control tools, such as Git and GitHub
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and being able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with user experience design and usability testing
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
