Engineering Light Rail Support
Aufgaben
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal departments to manage projects independently and construct rail components, such as wheels, couplings, and vehicle systems for various rail vehicles.
- Conceive, calculate, and construct wheels, couplings, and vehicle systems for trains and other rail vehicles.
- Verify technical documentation prepared by project engineers or technical specialists for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, such as maintenance and operating instructions.
- Review and comment on load schedules.
- Create and verify maintenance schedules.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Coordinate projects and collaborate in project teams.
- Engage in technical discussions and negotiations with customers and suppliers.
Qualifikation
- Completed engineering studies with a diploma as a Civil Engineer or Master of Engineering, preferably with the specialization in Railway Engineering or Construction Technology.
- Extensive knowledge in the fields of construction, structural mechanics, calculation, and metalworking technology.
- Experience in industry or research in the development and construction of vehicle components for rail vehicles is an advantage, but not mandatory. We also offer opportunities for those with interrupted studies to join the team.
- Basic knowledge of engineering software products such as CAD and SolidWorks.
- Fluent English in both speech and writing.
- Teamwork, ability to work independently, creativity, and flexibility.
