Wir sind auf der Suche nach einem IT-Infrastruktur-Spezialist Server & Netzwerk (w|m|d), welcher unser IT-Team zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt an unserem Headquarter in Aachen unterstützt.

Aufgaben

• Du übernimmst eigenverantwortlich die Betreuung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der hardwarenahen IT-Infrastruktur (Server, Router, Switches, ...) an unseren Standorten in Aachen. Dabei stellst du die Verfügbarkeit, Performance und Ausfallsicherheit unserer Systeme sicher.
• Zu deinem Aufgabenbereich gehören die Planung, Installation sowie das Lifecycle-Management von Server- und Netzwerkhardware, einschließlich Tauschen von Hardware oder Koordination von Reparaturen mit unseren Dienstleistern (ISP, Klimaanlagentechniker, Elektriker, Hardware usw.)
• Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt deiner Tätigkeit liegt in der Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung unserer Storage-Landschaft, unter anderem mit Technologien wie Ceph und RAID.
• Zudem sorgst du für einen stabilen und sicheren Betrieb unserer Netzwerkumgebung im LAN- und WAN-Bereich.
• Du analysierst und behebst Störungen in der IT-Infrastruktur, insbesondere in den Bereichen Netzwerk, Hardware und Basisdienste. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit anderen IT-Fachbereichen zusammen und stellst eine sorgfältige Dokumentation der Systeme und Prozesse sicher.
• Darüber hinaus administrierst und optimierst du unsere Proxmox Virtualisierungsumgebung.

Qualifikation

• Du arbeitest selbstständig, strukturiert und verantwortungsbewusst und bist du ein echter Teamplayer mit guter Kommunikationsfähigkeit.
• Du hast eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung, z. B. als Fachinformatiker oder ein Studium im Bereich Informatik bzw. eine vergleichbare Qualifikation – alternativ überzeugst du als Quereinsteiger mit relevanter praktischer Erfahrung.
• Du bringst fundierte Kenntnisse zum Planen, Betreiben und Administrieren von Server- und Netzwerkhardware sowie Rechenzentrumsinfrastruktur mit und hast sehr gute Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Storage, RAID-Konzepten sowie Virtualsierungsumgebungen (idealerweise Proxmox)
• Du kennst dich im Bereich Netzwerktechnologien (Routing, Switching, VLANs, Firewalling und VPN) aus und konntest bereits praktische Erfahrung mit dynamischen Routing-Protokollen, insbesondere OSPF, sammeln.
• In einem internationalen Umfeld fühlst du dich wohl: Du verfügst sowohl über sehr gute Deutsch- als auch über gute Englischkenntnisse und scheust dich nicht diese anzuwenden.
