Our team is comprised of engineers from Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Development, and Verification who collaborate with ground robotics experts to support the development of prototypes. As a working student ground robotics specialist, you will take the lead on a specific module or work package, working closely with experienced engineers to ensure the successful completion of your tasks. Your responsibilities will include understanding and clarifying project requirements, designing mechanical, electrical, and software components, creating and integrating them into prototypes, conducting bench and vehicle tests, documenting your work, and presenting project progress in technical reviews. This role is ideal for students with a background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related field. You should be comfortable working hands-on, have some practical experience, and possess basic knowledge in areas such as CAD, mechanics, electronics, Python/Linux, embedded systems, testing, and data evaluation. You must be detail-oriented, reliable, and a good communicator, and have a strong command of the English language.
