Wir wollen die Zustelllogistik ein zweites Mal revolutionieren – mit mobilen Paketautomaten, die auf jeden Parkplatz passen, und einer durchgängigen Automatisierung der letzten Meile. Für mehr Effizienz, niedrigere Kosten, vor allem aber für weniger CO₂-Emissionen, Straßenüberlastung und Verpackungsmüll. Aktuell stehen wir vor unserer nächsten Wachstumsphase und einer Finanzierungsrunde von 4-6 Mio. €. Genau dafür suchen wir dich.

Wer wir sind

Innovative Robot Delivery GmbH – Smarcel – wurde 2021 gegründet und entwickelt automatisierte Paketinfrastruktur für die letzte Meile. Drei Produkte, eine Plattform: der mobile Smarcel ONE Locker, die in das Lieferfahrzeug integrierte Smarcel CABIN und das wandintegrierte Smarcel WALLGATE.

Gegründet von erfahrenen Logistik- und Produktexperten (u. a. von den Erfindern der DHL Packstation), arbeiten wir aktuell mit DHL, Posten Bring, Planzer, Nova Poșt und weiteren europäischen Paketdienstleistern an konkreten Pilotprojekten. Wir sind Konsortialführer eines EU-geförderten Projekts (EIT Urban Mobility) mit mehreren Partnern. Hinter uns steht zudem ein etabliertes Set an Investoren, das uns über die letzten Jahre kontinuierlich begleitet hat. Im nächsten Jahr planen wir die nächste große Finanzierungsrunde.

Unser Lab und Büro befinden sich in Köln-Rodenkirchen. Wir sind ein kleines, schlagkräftiges Team mit kurzen Entscheidungswegen und einer klaren Mission: Last-Mile-Logistik in Europa neu denken.

Aufgaben

Deine Rolle

Du übernimmst die Verantwortung für alles, was bei uns mit Zahlen, Finanzen und Investoren zu tun hat. Du arbeitest direkt mit den zwei Geschäftsführern zusammen und bist zentrale Schnittstelle zu Investoren, Beirat und externen Partnern.

Konkret heißt das:

• Forecast & Cashflow: Du behältst Liquidität, Burn Rate und Runway im Auge - und warnst rechtzeitig, wenn etwas aus dem Ruder läuft.
• Monatliches Investoren-Update: Du erstellst die monatlichen Reporting-Unterlagen für unsere Investoren, inklusive Finanzkennzahlen, Forecast-Updates und Kommentierung der wichtigsten Entwicklungen.
• Beiratsmeetings: Du bereitest die quartalsweisen Beiratsmeetings vor – Zahlen, Präsentation, Beschlussvorlagen.
• Finanzierungsrunde 4-6 Mio. €: Du bist strategischer und operativer Treiber unserer nächsten Runde. Du erstellst Financial Model, Pitch-Materialien, Investorenliste, koordinierst Due-Diligence-Prozesse und behältst alle Workstreams im Blick.
• Wirtschaftlichkeitsberechnungen: Für Pilotprojekte, Partnerschaften und strategische Entscheidungen rechnest du Cases durch – sauber, schnell, entscheidungsorientiert.
• Buchhaltung & Reporting: Du steuerst unsere externe Buchhaltung, stellst sicher, dass Jahresabschlüsse, Steuern und gesetzliche Berichtspflichten reibungslos laufen.

Qualifikation

Was du mitbringst

Wir suchen keinen klassischen Senior-CFO mit 20 Jahren Konzernerfahrung – wir suchen jemanden mit klarem Verstand für Zahlen, Eigenständigkeit und Lust auf eine echte Startup-Reise.

• Abgeschlossenes Studium (BWL, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Finance o. ä.)
• Erste Berufserfahrung im Finanzbereich, z. B. in Controlling, Corporate Finance, Wirtschaftsprüfung, Investment Banking, Beratung oder als Finance-Mitarbeiter in einem Startup
• Sehr gute Excel-Skills, idealerweise auch erste Erfahrung mit Financial Modeling
• Sehr gutes Deutsch und gutes Englisch (unsere Investoren und Partner sind international)
• Strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise - du wartest nicht auf Aufgaben, du erkennst sie
• Ambition, Eigenständigkeit und der Wille, etwas Eigenes mitzuprägen – nicht zu verwalten, sondern zu gestalten
• Erfahrung in der Finanzierung von Startups oder den Willen, sich sehr schnell in diese Welt einzuarbeiten
