Gruntwork, an industry leader in DevOps solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer at Gruntwork, you will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge DevOps practices that enable organizations to streamline their infrastructure management processes. You will work closely with a team of experts to design, implement, and maintain the most advanced tools and solutions in the industry. Our team is dedicated to empowering teams to deploy applications quickly and reliably, while minimizing the risk of downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement the latest DevOps tools and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure management challenges
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and best practices
- Optimize and automate infrastructure management processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and support to help teams navigate complex infrastructure challenges
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies to keep the team ahead of the curve
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools
- Experience with a variety of DevOps tools and technologies, including but not limited to Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, and Ansible
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with network and security infrastructure
- Experience with DevOps tooling and automation (Ansible, Terraform)
Location: Remote work is preferred, but we are happy to consider candidates based in our office locations.
