The company is currently in the early stages of rapid growth and is seeking a Regional HR Manager for EMEA to join the People team and take on a critical role in shaping the future of HR operations at the company.
The Regional HR Manager for EMEA will be responsible for leading and scaling the company's regional HR team, ensuring precise and compliant HR operations, and providing HR support to the broader People team. This role will require the ability to interpret data trends and themes to drive strategic decisions and partner with senior leadership in the region. The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional academic track records, experience in leading initiatives across regions within a technology business, and hands-on experience in people management and business partnering.
Key responsibilities of the role include leading and scaling the regional HR team, delivering precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner, interacting closely with the broader People team, creating tight-knit processes across all regions, and being accountable for HR processes such as talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, culture and engagement initiatives that drive high-performing teams. The candidate will also work with senior managers across the business on performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, rewards, and workforce planning.
Additionally, the Regional HR Manager for EMEA will be responsible for owning and coaching people managers on the full spectrum of employee relations issues, across multiple countries, and establishing a trusted partnership with the business in the region. The role will also require driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, designing new policies and delivering on business-critical HR-related projects globally, presenting at Canonical events to articulate the company's HR practices, and presenting at Canonical events to articulate the company's HR practices.
Nice-to-have skills for this role include experience with immigration policies and mobility processes, professional HR qualification (CIPD/SHRM or other), facilitation skills, experience handling and overseeing complex ER matters across multiple jurisdictions, and experience working in a remote-first organization.
