Technical Content Developer
At our digital technology company, we are looking for a highly skilled Technical Content Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for the creation and management of technical content, including user manuals, tutorials, and product guides. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, a passion for digital product development, and experience in creating engaging content for technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product development teams to understand technical requirements and create content that is clear, concise, and easy to understand.
- Create technical content in a variety of formats, including PDFs, webinars, and videos.
- Ensure that all technical content meets quality standards and is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
- Participate in the development of new technical content, including user manuals and tutorials.
- Assist in the review and editing of existing technical content to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Conduct research and gather information to create accurate and reliable technical content.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure that technical content is aligned with overall product strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technical writing, digital communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or content creation.
- Strong understanding of technical writing principles and best practices.
- Experience in creating engaging content for technical audiences.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with content management systems, such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch.
- Knowledge of user experience design principles and best practices.
- Experience with technical communication tools such as Confluence, Atlassian, or JIRA.
- Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Jira.
