Overview:
As an Armenian language audio/video interpreter for LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you are tasked with providing effective communication through a web-based platform. You will respond to inbound calls promptly, maintain high levels of customer service, and adhere to ethical guidelines and industry-specific practices.
Responsibilities:
- Offer effective audio and video interpretation via a web-based platform
- Respond to inbound calls in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining confidentiality
- Follow all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices
Qualifications/Experience:
- Full fluency in both English and Armenian
- - Preferred: Fluency in Russian
- Proficient in web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
- An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises
- 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
- Industry-specific certifications or training preferred (e.g., CMI, CCHI, etc.)
