Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional or enterprise-wide projects, including the creation of bid documents, economic evaluations, and allocation within the welding and robotics sectors.
- Develop programs and program routines for existing and future robotic systems.
- Educate and train employees on robotic systems and their programming.
- Participate in investment planning as part of the Mid-Term Management Plan.
- Assist in the assessment of models and drawings for the automated welding process.
- Conceive and procure production equipment, such as robots and other automated systems.
- Assist the production department (Welding) with production problems.
- Conduct training sessions for project launches in the production area.
- Develop and implement solutions to problems with relevant departments, track progress, and support the implementation.
- Develop value stream maps to optimize information and material flows.
- Implement measures to improve productivity and quality, such as optimizing robotics.
- Conduct economic analyses and calculations, capacity and workload calculations.
- Monitor and document improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in programming industrial robots, preferably in various programming languages (e.g., Robosoft, Yaskawa, etc.)
- Desired: Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, CAD, Lean methods
- Additional training in Welding Engineering for advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Solutions-oriented working style and team spirit
