Software Developer
We are a rapidly growing technology company that is looking to expand its team with a dedicated Software Developer. This is a full-time position based in our downtown office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Implement and maintain software systems and applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and functionality.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Design and implement scalable and secure systems.
- Continuously improve code quality and efficiency by identifying and addressing bugs and performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards for software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a technical team environment.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, etc.).
- Experience with agile methodologies and software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Ruby on Rails).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-based development tools and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices and security testing.
- Experience with testing and debugging techniques.
- Experience with mobile app development (e.g., Android, iOS).
