Our IT Department consists of a five-person in-house IT team that collaborates with an external IT service provider. Even though the job responsibilities are varied and extensive, we always place a high value on a friendly and collegial working relationship, whether it's in-house or external. Responsibilities
- IT Support: Provide first- and second-level support as a central contact point for colleagues and departments regarding all IT inquiries at the site
- Technical Support: Manage Microsoft Client Systems, Telecommunications, Printing, and Computers
- Ticket Management: Accept, classify, and independently solve incident and request tickets (hard and software)
- Digital Documentation: Maintain the ticket system and create technical documentation and user manuals
- Hardware Lifecycle: Install, maintain, and dispose of workstations and hardware / client systems, coordinate with hardware suppliers, and manage IT assets (issue and return)
- Standards & Warehouses: Order and manage hardware, inventory control, and coordination with suppliers for disposal
- Service & Testing: Perform material tests with departmental experts and support technicians in service and repair work
Requirements
- Academic / Educational Qualifications: An ideal graduate with a degree in IT, or an alternative IT-related degree, or an equivalent training in system integration or a comparable field
- Previous IT Support Experience: Experience in IT support or IT services
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, hardware, and Microsoft software
- Teamwork & Communication Skills: Strong team skills, communication skills, seriousness, structured and self-reliant work, and a service-oriented attitude
- On-site Availability: Availability to be a liaison for IT issues with the colleagues
