As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our cutting-edge hardware engineering team, focusing on the design and development of advanced electronics for our innovative drone and autonomous robotics solutions.
As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will take the lead in the development of electronic modules, such as flight controllers, sensors, and vision systems, leading the PCB (printed circuit board) design process from initial ideation through detailed design and manufacturing readiness. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive PCB and product verification activities, including signal integrity analysis, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing, and thermal cycling. Your work will contribute to the creation of advanced systems for defense applications, including interceptor and reconnaissance drones, and quadcopters for defense purposes.
Working closely with test engineering, manufacturing, and production teams, you will ensure a seamless transition of hardware designs from development to volume production. You will also collaborate with product management and customer success teams to align system architecture and interfaces, define electronics requirements, and incorporate feedback from field deployments into design improvements. Your expertise in high-density and mixed-signal PCB design, signal and power integrity, and hands-on experience in PCB verification and testing will be crucial.
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will work closely with a team of engineers and designers to develop technical documentation, including design concepts, schematics, CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and repair manuals. You will also mentor junior engineers to achieve technical excellence and develop best practices within the team. Your collaborative approach to problem-solving, proactive mindset, and independent problem-solving skills will be essential for success in this role.
