Why Conduct
At Conduct, we believe the world's largest companies should operate at the speed of their ideas, not the pace of outdated systems. Today, enterprises often struggle with complex, custom-built systems that hinder agility and innovation. Our mission is to transform this landscape by leveraging AI and automation to simplify, accelerate, and democratize enterprise processes. We're building the AI operating system that empowers enterprises to move faster and more efficiently, closing critical business gaps that sap their speed and ambition. Demand for our services is outpacing our capabilities, and we're growing rapidly. Our team is talented, diverse, and collaborative, working from London and New York. We're a small, fast-paced startup, and we're committed to fostering an environment where everyone's voice is heard and where talent is recognized.
What You'll Own

Oversee and maintain the People Operations functions, including benefits administration, visa and right-to-work processes, policy documentation, and ensuring compliance.
Manage the HRIS and payroll platforms, keeping employee data accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready.
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for every new joiner, and a compassionate and efficient offboarding process.
Continuously improve and automate people processes, making them scalable and efficient.
Support the broader team with ad hoc requests, internal comms, and employee experience initiatives that enhance Conduct's reputation as a place people want to stay.
Who We Hire
This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and takes pride in getting things right the first time. You're comfortable with ambiguity and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You bring warmth and professionalism to interactions with the team. In practice, it looks like:
2+ years in a People Operations, HR, or administrative role, ideally at a fast-growing tech company or startup. You understand what good looks like in a lean, high-velocity environment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented. You manage competing priorities without things slipping through the cracks.
A builder's mindset. You don't just maintain existing processes; you improve them, always looking for ways to make things faster, cleaner, and more scalable.
