Responsibilities:
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will:
- Own core components of our Java-based platform
- Dive into existing codebases to understand architecture and business logic
- Develop and implement strategies for evolving and modernizing software architecture
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable Java applications and services
- Guide and mentor fellow engineers on architectural best practices and clean code principles
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into sustainable technical solutions
- Drive initiatives to improve code quality, reduce technical debt, and enhance overall system performance
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 8+ years of experience in Java development, with proficiency in Spring Framework and other standard libraries
- Proven ability to quickly understand and effectively manage large, complex codebases
- Excellent understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Ability to develop and execute long-term plans for code evolution and modernization
- Enjoy the challenge of refactoring existing systems while ensuring stability and performance
- A solid understanding of databases, APIs, and software development lifecycle
