About the Role
As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the localized versions of our games are accurate and culturally appropriate. Your primary responsibility will be to scrutinize the game’s text, graphics, and user interface to ensure that it is free from errors and inconsistencies. You will work closely with a global team of translators and designers to maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a global project team.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Our Localization QA team ensures the quality of the localized versions of our games across a variety of cutting-edge platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation VR2, and mobile and tablet devices.
Requirements
- No experience required. Just fluency in European Spanish and conversational in English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
- Computer literacy—particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- Local candidates must be located within Schengen Area.
