WHO WE LOOK FOR 🦄
You are an experienced Event Manager (m/f/d/x) with a strategic mindset, ideally in a B2B environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to own and shape the events strategy across multiple European markets within a fast-growing international tech company.
You understand how events drive lead generation, pipeline growth, and brand positioning and you align your work accordingly. You are comfortable managing events end-to-end, from strategy and planning to logistics, content, and on-site execution.
You are highly organized and thrive in managing multiple projects in parallel across different countries and timelines. You take full ownership, and confidently collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and speakers. You are excited to join a company in constant evolution, where the role can grow in scope and impact over time.
If this sounds like you, then let’s talk!
WHAT YOU WILL DO 🏄
- Own and optimize the events budget, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals (e.g. lead generation, increase awareness)
- Design and execute an events strategy across multiple European markets (DACH, CEE, NL), adapting it to different priorities and market maturity, and collaborating closely with Country Managers and Sales teams to ensure alignment with commercial goals and local needs
- Plan and deliver a mix of owned and third-party events across multiple countries, ensuring high-quality and smooth execution
- Lead speaker and content management, defining topics, formats, and agendas in collaboration with internal and external speakers, working closely with the Brand & Communication team
- Act as a key connector across teams (Sales, Marketing, PR, and Country Managers) ensuring strong alignment and impact and manage external partners such as agencies, venues, and organizers
- Track and analyze event performance (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement, proactively identifying new opportunities to maximize impact
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality brand experience across all markets, while adapting to local nuances
WHAT YOU WILL NEED 🪄
- 4–6+ years of experience in event management, ideally in an international B2B context
- Proven experience managing complex events end-to-end (both owned and sponsored) across multiple countries, balancing different priorities and timelines
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives in parallel
- Strong experience in event content and storytelling, including agenda development, topics and formats
- Experience owning and managing budgets, with a data-driven approach to performance tracking (KPIs)
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to connect events to business objectives (lead generation, pipeline, brand positioning)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong “can-do” and collaborative mindset
- High level of ownership, proactivity, and problem-solving attitude
- Experience using AI tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency (e.g. for strategic thinking, planning, content creation, research, or reporting)
- Fluent English and German is a must. Dutch is a strong plus; additional languages are also valued
👉 At our company, we value diversity and actively encourage it — we believe a variety of perspectives and backgrounds makes us stronger. We focus on potential rather than on having a “perfect” CV. If this role excites you and you believe you could grow into it — even if you don’t tick every single box in the requirements — we’d love to hear from you!

TO FEEL AT HOME 🛋️ IN SHOPFULLY YOU NEED 🎯
-
Progress Over Perfection: We move forward. Always. In a fast-moving world, speed with purpose beats certainty without action. Momentum matters—not for its own sake, but because it drives results.
-
Clarity Through Transparency: We bring each other along. We work in teams, not silos. Transparency gives context, and context enables action. That means we share decisions early, publish work in progress, and document outcomes so others can learn, move faster, and build better.
-
Learn Loudly: We grow by doing and by daring. Big bets unlock big breakthroughs. But real innovation demands risk, and risk always carries the possibility of failure. That’s not a flaw. It’s the price of ambition.
-
Challenge with Empathy: We speak up, even when it’s hard—because candor shows care, and leads to better outcomes. Listening deeply is how we grow. Disagreeing openly is how we build trust.
Always Build Better: We are builders—of products, systems, and ideas. But more than that, we are builders of better. Better has no finish line. It’s a mindset.
