Lead Developer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, efficient, and innovative solutions to complex problems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership: Oversee the development team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Ensure the team adheres to the company's coding standards and best practices.
2. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with project scope and timelines.
3. Technical Architecture: Design and implement architectural solutions that address the long-term needs of the project and organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the technical vision.
4. Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, and perform regular code quality assessments to maintain standards.
5. Performance Optimization: Identify and optimize code performance to improve application efficiency and reduce resource usage.
6. Scalability and Maintenance: Develop scalable solutions that can handle increased loads and accommodate future growth, while ensuring maintainability and extensibility.
7. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to enhance the developer's understanding of the project and maintain the technical expertise of the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a software developer, with at least 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in project management and technical leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
